STANDING IN LINE

The rules are  right there.

Standing in line day at a time.

Do not talk to people up front,

Do not talk to people behind.

Move on cue with the line,

Don’t shout or fuss or push,

Be careful about your tush.

Don’t squeeze or yawn

Don’t drink or sleep alone,

But you can talk on the phone.

Do not eat your food

Even if it looks real good.

Do not bemoan a line

No one wants a whine.

You cannot smoke or drink

But you can think,

Think of church and prayer

And just stand right there.
