EATING A SANDWICH BAG

The box said it was a sandwich bag,

I bought one for about two dollars,

Took it home, eager for a taste.

I spread out the bread upon the counter,

Applied the spreads upon the bread,

I slapped on a piece of cheese,

And some lettuce to tease,

And then the sandwich bag to taste.

It was such a surprise.

I could not bite that thing through.

I couldn’t chew, it not at all.

It tasted so bland and then

I couldn’t figure how to eat it.

What do you do to a bag to make it edible?

I couldn’t put it in the microwave.

It had a zipper on it.

I don’t know what to do o.

A friend said I should shred it.

But all I could do was dread it.

I went to the Internet and asked

How to cook a sandwich bag,

And they replied, 50,407 persons,

That you auction it off on eBay,

And I will do dat one day.
