The Undecided Voter,
The poor, poor undecided voter.
Too timid to name a choice,
Worried about her voice,
Wishing he didn’t have to choose,
Wondering why he creates news.
In matters of world concern,
And whether or not the world will burn,
He agonizes for weeks and weeks
And does that right up until the eve
When both vote for Adam and Steve.
When every one else knows the causes,
Undecided Voter looks for clauses,
Things that are neither this nor that,
Perhaps a little help for the cat.
So Undecided votes for a dog,
And the election becomes epilog.
